This family of products consists in polymer particle dispersions, of very narrow particle size distribution, with a characterization protocol which allows claiming their traceability to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) standards.
Particle size is determined with a Disc Centrifugue Photosedimentometer (DCP) and/or Photon Correlation Spectrophotometry (PCS). NIST’s Standard Reference Materials SRM 1690 and 1691 are used to validate these devices for particle size determination. Traceability to these standards is assured through a documented unbroken chain of calibrations and verifications.
